Maret was a great host. This was my first time staying at a Airbnb. I was in there for a wedding in near by Kinderhook. While at Maret’s home she filled me in on the historical aspects of the area dating back to Revoluatioal (sic) War. (I come found a town filled with history of that time.) Also told me about the NY trail system and its close proximity, I’m a active hiker and run trail ultras. I departed early and Maret had hot coffee and scones ready for me. I’d definitely recommend staying with Maret.

Steven  November 2022  Upon our arrival we were given some yummy scones that our host Maret had baked, that was a very nice surprise. We enjoyed meeting her cat Logan, that and the location was stunning! Maret's home is full of character and charm. We were very comfortable. This is a beautiful and relaxing setting for a visit to Kinderhook/Valatie. It is extremely quiet and the natural surroundings are lush. Local dining and ever increasing cultural attractions are also nearby. Definitely recommend. Response from Maret: Thank you and you guys are welcome any time.

Maret’s house is a gem in the country. The accommodation was comfortable and convenient and she baked some delicious breakfast scones. It was perfectly located close to Stuyvesant where I was traveling to a family event. I’m hoping to return in the Fall.

Maret was quick at communicating and very accommodating. The place is clean, quiet and has nice touches. She was helpful in helping us navigate the area, and nice engaging in casual conversations at a safe distance. We enjoyed some gluten free scones she shared with us and beverages in the morning. Will likely visit again.
